Hi all, I try to grasp on the inner software of our beloved SE phone and how it work in relation to flashing firmware/changing menu. Having read few forums and browsing web site like kulankendi and wotanserver I come to this conclusion. Please correct me if I am wrong.
1. There are 3 parts of software that you can change/upgrade the EROM, MAIN and FS?
2. We need to get the same level (ver and language) of FS and MAIN to make the phone work correctly (need to finalize)?
3. We can change to newer EROM without the need of finalizing (in other word quite independent to FS and MAIN)?
That lead me to other questions:
1. What is inside FS/File System? (is it language etc?????) and what does it do?
2. What is inside MAIN (is menu icon, link, etc?????) and what does it do?
3. What is inside EROM and what does it do? I still got old R3A011 EROM with R1ED firmware, where can I got newer one?
Is there any FAQ that explain in relative detail on how all above components in SE software work?
