I´ve recently converted my k750i into a w800i via FAR manager. Everything went perfectly fine, except for one thing:
Now no other device can locate me via bluetooth.. I can send files to other people just fine, but they can never locate my phone, even though all the settings are correct in the configuration menu.
I´m running firmware R1BC002..
Does anyone have any suggestions to help me solve this problem???

i know you have said you have checked all the settings, but is the phone 'hidden' mode?
go to the bt menu, options, visibility, show phone

yes actually I did double-check that when testing..
I´m thinking about reverting the phone back to a k750i.. i do miss the activity menu afterall...
Maybe that would help me.. Should I do that via FAR manager too or is there another (simpler) way of doing it?

Well there was said that you cannot run W800's firmware on a K750 without any errors, so you have problems like many others. My suggestion for you is to return to the K750 firmware and stay with it. It's great after all

yes after reading your advice i decided to return to the k750i firmware... Now i´m running on R1BD001 but still got the same bluetooth issues..
very rarely some phones can find mine, but even more rarely it is possible to finish a tranfer via bt..
still, i can send any kind of file to any kind of phone just fine.. really wierd..
any one´s got any other ideas??
