I have R1C installed and its telling me i have the latest update when the latest is actually something like R1N. Ive managed to find and download the latest firmware files but i dont know how to install to the mobile phone.

can anyone help me please.

thanks mate. ive got as far as "enter the matrix" but it says the com is closed after trying to connect to the phone. i will keep trying though. i may be thick but i wont give in damn it lol

btw do you know if while doing all this do you need to have your phone connected and switched on? thats what ive done. or do i need to remove sim card and switch off and hold down "C"?

this is way too complex. these tutorials dont explain things like where to get sefp and gdfs and wtf they do and where they go and how to use etc and no help files anywhere. who TF wrote all this bullsht anyway im a human not a fkin mind reader. thanks for your help mate but i'll stick with he old FW until sony get a brain. in fact im gonna plague the fkers with emails bombs for wasting my life.

There is a difference in FW for unlocked phones and FW for an operator. So you want to make sure you got the right on. Otherwise things can go south real fast.

i see thats gotta be why then. i dont know if its unloacked or not. are you saying that if i pay a few quid and unlock it then this FAR Manager will/should show me the memory folder etc?
