I've just downloaded and installed myphoneexplorer 1.5.7. I opened the programme and plugged in my phone but it can't find it - any idea why (and should I be in transfer mode or phone mode)

pc suite will do the job.
You can use phone mode. MyPhoneExplorer can see the memory stick and
the phone like this so you can copy files to the stick without changing mode.
