Can anyone offer me any assistance with my K800i which crashed at the weekend when using Opera Mini and now the phone display shows only small characters with a lot of letter missing i.e. the firmware is completely corrupted. I have tried updating the firmware using the SE but to no avail. Can still connect to PC using USB cable and have tried master reset, still no joy. How can I reformat the memory or over write and reinstall firmware, otherwise phone is useless.

you could try full flash of your firmware, which can either be done in any mobile phone repair shop for free (as long as your phone is covered with waranty) or online, using wotan server, or Davinci client...
