Hi,
Im pretty new here and have just the one question. It starts like this...
I recently bought a K800i from my local Carphone Warehouse. It was advertised at £199 on Orange so I proceeded to ask the salesman if it was sim free like all their other models. He replied yeah so i bought it, took it home, popped my vodafone sim in and it all worked, but..... it was very heavily orange branded still ie the menu icons and undeletable pictures, themes and so on. i returned it the same day.
i have now seen a sim free version on Expansys and was wondering if the phone is sim free and also unbranded in every way?
i apologise for the long rant, im very against branding thats all

Why not contact Expansys and ask?
You can unbrand the phone for a few pounds via Wotanserver anyway.

thanks for the help guys. i know there sim free its just the branding im not sure about. i looked into unbranding it that way but it also voids your warranty i hear?

thanks axxxr, the help is very appreciated. i was quite excited when i finally got home from the carphone warhouse, through all the christmas traffic. only to discover the horrible orange garbage all over my phone. i think ill order the k800i before 4pm. would anyone suggest another phone to consider? i was looking at the k610i as im not really bothered about cameras or 3g

are all the phones on these sites totally unbranded too? i hear phoneplanet sometimes has branding left on. im just worried that i may get one from an online retailer and the phone is branded to death.

I got my simfree p990 from there,foneplanet,and it`s totaly unbranded.I emailed them before to make sure it was unbranded.

I would get it from mobilefun.co.uk I got my n70 simfree from there and it was unbranded.
