Sorry about this, you've all been very helpful, but I have one last question which is very important to me for deciding what RAM is compatible with my motherboard...
How or where can I find out whether my motherboard will take high-density RAM memory sticks?
Since if it doesn't I will need to pay for the more expensive low-density version of what I want.
My motherboard model: MS-7168
Any help is greatly appreciated

try crucials site they have a ram checker were you put in motherboard pc model etc and it comes up with a list of compatible ram
