Been using this phone for quite sometime now and so far am happy with it. only thing that i dont like with this phone are its keypads. they're just to flat for me, if you dont put your thumb over the indentions, your most likely to press a diffrent button.
phone just crashed on me twice. wasnt able to notice what i was doing then, i guess was playing some videos.
just got a couple of questions to all W950i owners.
1. have you guys noticed that when you switch transitions on, when you move the jog dial screen fades out a little?
also i noticed when i use my onscreen keyboard, i guess the vertical left half of my screen has a diffrent setup. meaning if i put and press my stylus on a letter it presses the one below it. unfortunately got no pictures to show it right now, will try to post some soon.
btw, a tip that i can give you guys, its just so hard to remove the battery cover on this phone, so dont try to force it with your hands or the conventional way that we open battery cases. use a TAPE on in. tried forcing it, what would happen is that the frame on the phone would be seen through the front case.
try to post as much observation and facts as you can. thanks!

also noticed that when you change themes, settings on sounds and alert aren't saved, they all go back to default.
Sound quality is great. will try to compare it with my creative zen v plus.
lmao. touch screen is so addicting.

the Setup wizard will do (at least on P990i it does). it's under control panel -> other.

I didn't have a problem with the battery cover on mine, don't know if that's down to thumb placement when removing it. I push the little knobbly bits at the bottom of the phone battery cover one thumb on each.
Keypad I've not found to be a big issue as the touch screen means it gets little use. The flat profile means there's less fiddly bits to gather pocket fluff
If you're not using it already have a look at Swiss Manager Pro, great app also frees memory up on phone which may help stop it crashing. If it had crashed and it wasn't the huge video startup time you can get with some video clips - grrr.
I normally have transitions turned off but when switched on there is a very slight dimming during transition - dunno if this is intentional or a bug.

@scroitoru. thanks! calibrating fixed the on screen keyboard issue! haha, never thought of that. thanks a lot.
@Orgazmic tried putting my thumb on those knobs, had 4 people tried opening it. haha.. we all felt that we might break it just trying to open the battery cover, but using tape made it easy to open.
yeah, been plaaning on getting that swiss manager pro. read a lot about this neat program.
about the dimming thing. yea, same here. weird. although i cant notice it with dark colored themes, they're more evident using lighter colors.
btw, when using walkamn with hpm-82 and you guys get a text message, does your phone pauses the music, play your text message tone, then resumes playback. mines does this just for calls.
hah! touchscreen. im so addicted to it.
