Hi,

I have a S/// K700 with a broken keypad (I can't enter my PIN correctly anymore). The mobile phone company claims that it can not be repaired as it is supposed to be water damage (nonsense...).

Now, before I try to repair it on my own, I would like to know if there is any software or method to retrieve data (pics, phone numbers, etc, etc.) from the phone without having to enter the pin on the phone. (e.g entering the PIN through that software)

I'm desperate!

Thank you so much in advance.

Jenny

None of the keys works? If one works, you could put the sim in another phone, change the code to one you can type in and put it back.

It's no the SIM that is broken. The keypad does not work correctly. So it's irrelevant if I use a SIM with \"1234\" as PIN code or one with \"6789\".

If I press I key, sometimes no number at all is being displayed, sometimes 3 at a time will be entered. It's impossible to enter the PIN with the phone...

Just like gaming_guy said, put the sim into another phone, and remove the PIN from it, and then put it again in your K700, and it should instantly open without asking any PIN.

Now I hope that you are gonna transfer your files using a data cable, else, how are you going to turn bluetooth/infrared on?

Yes it is
As long as you know the original pin, it is.
