I think I pretty much know what I "need" to do here, but I'm wondering if there is an easier way.
Basically I have GPRS on my cell phone and want to use internet applications though the IR port on my Palm. My problem is that most everything I read tells me I need to configure specific host information into my Palm, and my cell provider has a policy not to give out this info.
I use Cingular in the US, and my cell phone can access the net fine. I'm wondering if there is any way to convince my palm to use an already open connection though my phone...

BobbyT,
I used the Connection Manager from:
http://www.79bmedia.com
Click on link on left of page.
It costs $5 I think, but it's quick and easy with no complex configuration setting to input (and it works a treat).
P.S. I am not in any way connected to 79bmedia but I just think that this is a great piece of software.

I just downloaded the CoMa demo. Unfortunatly the ONLY provider it indicates it covers in the US is Voicestream. Which leaves me back at square one...
Thanks for the tip though...

BobbyT,
Yeah, shame that. Why don't you email support at 79bmedia and see if they will add the SP settings you use in the USA to the COMA program for you.
There must be others in the US who would like the Cingular settings added.
