Hi all, I wanna know if there're programs or any jar programs etc that you can install on ur fone so that ur fone can play WMA files? U see WMA is pretty much the same quality as MP3 but it's smaller in size so I wanna convert all my MP3 to WMA and I can store more files, the thing is our fones can only play MP3.......I use a W700i and I wanna know if it's possible to make ur fone play WMA files, maybe by changing the internal system or something using FAR Manager? Or maybe install something, i mean it's a reasonable thought cuz if u install Firmware on ur fone that means u update something inside rite? So maybe u can change the system or something?

Well i know the K800i plays alot of formats and WMA is just one of them. I though W700 would of played WMA formats because it being a Walkman Phone and all.

I do think there is a program and i think it's possible, if K800i can play WMA format and W700i is designed to be a walkman, then it should be able to do the same thing, but plz can anyone tell me is there a way to use Far Manager to go into the internal system and add something in there or install something so that it can play WMA format? It's like installing a new Firmware, it upgrades ur camera versions etc so maybe it can upgrade or add something new to the fone to play WMA.....
And this message is for the guy who said this:

Dude, u weren't helping, u were just talking crap and saying stuff like i should post the message with a clearer description and all u said is that there're a lot of other topics like mine and all ur telling me to do is making my description clearer, does that answer my question at all? No, ur just telling me to make my topic posts clearer, u don't answer my question at all, in other words u waste my time reading ur replies which doesn't even answer to wat i ask at all.

If K800 can play WMA, maybe there's a codec into internal FS... so... with FAR we won't access (CID49)... Maybe try phonexs... see about that files and put it on your fone... Maybe.!! WMA in a Walkman ... mmm it smells great!!!

just convert your songs to **.m4a using itunes.
size is: m4a(80kbps)=mp3(80kbps)
but quality is: m4a(80kbps)=mp3(128kbps)
or, you could compress it further, but little difference in quality.
i use m4a on my k608i. and managed to store up to 11 4 min.(average) songs, compared to mp3 when i can only store up to 7 songs.
don't worry, your phone supports it...

why dont you save everyone the trouble & get yourself a wm phone... its natural for someone who intends to help, to ask for a clearer description of the problem...
btw...this site does not specialuze in helping people to hack firmware...maybe you should use google a lil more effectively
p.s...you sure live up to your username
