I would'nt go as far to say its been a mobile flop, its just the fact it took so damn long to be released and even after all the delays SE still did'nt get the f/w right.....

sales will be less the expected none the less its a good phone. its being bought by loyal SE fans and Pxxx users. and sold by salespeople who see its potential and explain it to the custumor.
this week i sold 2 of them, something which is extremly rare, cause you pay 600 euro for it. (phone discount with subscribtion isn't allowed here).

Well i love mine. Had no problems with it what so ever. Not a flop in my book and the word from a sales rep at the Carphone Warehouse was that it was a very popular phone and stocks were being sold out very quickly!

handset it has been rather dissapointing.
maybe in the new year
can release a upgraded P990 (possibly a P1000).

@axxxr- that's what I'm waiting for, a replacement for the p990i. The long delays and the newer releases by the competition made it look like a ordinary phone not a flop. Expectations were too high.

to be honest, i saw today a guy with p990 for the first time and i usually focus on ppl when having a call in the street etc. came pretty much around in the last weeks, but p990 wasnt spotted.
