> Old school vibrate alert vs new school

Decided to carry my Ericsson r600 today and the unfamiliar happened. Had 7 calls and never missed a single one! With my p910i, t610i, f500i and k700i I've missed calls often. Actually tested all phones above including the r320s and the old phones' vibrate alert is more powerful than the newer ones. I feel it's a bit of a letdown really, particularly for us with phones in trousers or ladies in handbags.

old fones dont hav much hardware chips installed unlike the newer fones have hence the new fones r fitted with a small vibrator compared to the bigger 1 in old 1s

the chips r well protected
its jus tht small devices use less space
old fones lik 1100 or ne cell not havin colour display or mem card or other new features usually hav high vibratin power

@harry23419- a lady friend of mine still has the old samsung something 700- the blue and silver clamshell. It came out roughly the same time as the t610i or slightly after and it also comes in silver. That samsung vibrates like my r600 and it's colour screen with a camera!
So I'm a bit confused by your explanation.

My T106 vibrates a lot harder than my other two (newer)SE phones. And if you set it standing up on a table it'll really take off. Not the a other two. There's even a commercial with a sick guy who takes inpiration from a T100 to walk again. It's on Youtube.
