> k800i personalize ringtone problem

I can't seem to get the personalized ringtone to work on my K800i. No matter which ringtone I chose for a particular contact, the phone would always plays the default (main) ringtone. I've searched the forum, it seems some people has the same problem, but no solution were shared. Does anyone has this problem too and managed to solve the problem?
My firmware is CXC1250214 R1ED001 China. Thanks.

Have you been listening to music while you get an incoming call? I think personal ringtones don't work when music is playing.

thegunners, just want to check, how did you install your contacts? Did you transfer in bulk from outlook? I'm trying to see if our problem may be caused by our method of contact entries.
I find it weird that some phone with the same firmware doesn't have this problem, while others have.

it sounds like a bug. have you tried out a master reset?

I have encountered the same problem described above.
Actually, what my K80oi does, it plays personalized ringtones for particular contacts, whereas others are still played default ringtone during incoming call. Wonder if it is a due some syncing problem. I sync almost everyday through MyPhoneExplorer and MS Outlook..

I didn't come up with any solution yet. My FW is R1CB001.
Hope that future firmware upgrades will solve this issue.

I'm having same problem for my W850i,firmware version R1GB001.Only first few contact are ok but others all ring as main ringtone..... any solution yet...? thanks
