In September 1956 IBM launched the 305 RAMAC, the first computer with a hard disk drive (HDD). The HDD weighed over a ton and stored 5MB of data. Let us start appreciating our 20GB hard drive!

not long mate.....
its all geting a bit silly really lol..... i hope all you who have 500+ gig (a lot) backs it up regular onto a hardcopy..... otehrwise one day, your worlds coming down lol.... i lost abotu 1000 pics from tunisia last year due to me not backing up - some can never be replaced as we went on a sahara desert 2 day trek (on camels etc).... doh!!!!!
