heyy all. I currently am on an iDen network, (nextel) and i have a i870. I am thinking about getting the i930, take a look at it and let me know what you guys think. thanks!
okay, this is just a quick review, i will post another in a few days about how its been.
I have never owned a windows smart phone, so this is a little new to me, its honestly a little overwhelming, but its something i can get used to. Compared to the other iDEN handsets i have used, the call quality is alot better. it is alot more clear. I can hear them and they can hear me better. The phone has IE which is great. Some pages take awhile to load, but what do you expect. The phone is bulky... now all iden phones are bulky, but this one is pretty big. I will post pics when i get time (i will compare it to the size of a t630, something we all have seen). the build is way better than any other iden phone exept for the military grade phones. now this one couldnt withstand a 5 story drop like some of the nextels, but this one is built very well, and is all metal. it has a SD slot, not a miniSD, just an SD slot. when the SD card isnt in, theres a little flap that covers the hole, but when you put the card in, the flap goes up, and you can see the card, which bugs me a little. I am using a miniSD card with an adapter, and im worried about the miniSD coming out somehow.
okay, more about how the phone actually works... im still pretty overwhelmed with it, so give me a few days to get used to it, and I will let you know more, and i will have it more like an actual review instead of messy like this.

@ECS
Well, out of that lot, the i930 seems the best bet. Not much else really

hahaha i told you there wasnt much

i had the blackberry 7100 but i had to pay extra for the internet, and it had no camera, so i could go in with it.
and @axxxr, i cant switch networks, becuase i frequently use the PTT function. other networks offer PTT, but its not the same. they cant direct connect (PTT) with eachother, only nextel does that way, and we all use that so much around here. it makes things easier haha.

Well in that case just get the i870 since there is such limited choice!

the i870 is what i already have
nextel/sprint is coming out with some new phones, that used cdma for phone and iDen for PTT, (the ic502), they are so ugly haha, but it might be a good idea. they are slowly trying to get rid of nextel.
