firstly, sorry if this is in the wrong section...

Okay, today, i was using my phone as usual, I put it down, and had a shower. came out, picked up my phone and noticed that the screen wouldn't turn on when i pressed the menu button. i thought it was weird, as it was showing the time in standby mode.

So, i pulled out the battery, and re inserted it 5 mins later, thinking that it must have crashed (rare, but sometimes happens for me) and the phone wouldn't turn on.Nothing, no white flash on the screen, no response at all. (not even a flash of the little red light on the top)

After this, i plugged it into the computer, and it wasn't recognized as a usb drive. so, i thought, maybe i should try re-flashing it. i opened phonenXS, and when it prompted me to connect phone with he c key pressed, and NOTHING at all.

So here I am, with a pretty black brick, with a screen, wondering what i should do. As it's my only working phone, I'm pretty worried about its well being...

On a side note, i have applied .vkp patches with GSlide, all successfully. At the moment, the phone is on the charger, in the vain hope that it may just be a low battery. (seems unlikely as it's at least 50 percent full at time i looked, earlier in the day)

Thanks a lot for any help you guys can provide. I'm going to bed now, and will come back here to answer any questions to help clarify.

Did it get wet whilst you were in the shower at all? Could be moisture damage, or one of those patches hasn't taken too well.

It's an odd situation. I have had similar probs with other phone makes, but usually removing and reinserting the battery does the trick.

nah, i didn't get it wet in the shower, it was in another room.

update: i have re flashed it with main and fs with phoneXS, and now it just shows a white screen for a couple of seconds when it turns on, then it shuts off again. I have heard of this one, but don't remember what people did to fix it... anyone know? thanks

If you have service cable, try flashing it with SETool. It worked excellent for my w800. I had the same problem once.

P.S. I used service cable, so I'm not sure if SETool supports DCU60.
