Never....doesn't really do anything for me!

Will wait for the new batch of smartphones in the new year!

N95 is a gorgeous phone! Will try and get it sim free later in the year after the driving's been paid for etc
I'm happy with my W950i and 8800 atm though!

Having had one for two weeks, albeit a very buggy version, I can say that it is an amazing bit of kit.

It's fast (aka N93 fast), well built and has loads of new UI improvements like variable text size, animated icons (and a general S40 appearance to menus if you so desire), a new media/activity button and a much, much better music player.

Not sure the built in SatNav software is that great (it didn't really work) but bung TomTom 6 on there and you're sorted. It's got HSDPA and you have the option of the integrated browser (which now has RSS), Opera or Opera Mini.

As with other models, you can also hook up a Bluetooth keyboard and there are all the usual tools like QuickOffice, PDF and ZIP etc.

Battery life wasn't really something we could test (it was constantly recording log files and even uploading data back to Finland) but it's a bigger battery than the N80 - thank god!

Better yet, the N95 isn't the only amazing device Nokia will release in 2007. Expect more form factors, and more use of GPS and graphics acceleration (i.e. the new N-Gage compatible devices they've been speaking about for a year or so, and are now talking about on their N-Gage website).

I may be a major SE fan, but when I put on my impartial hat, I have to say that Nokia will have everything sewn up when this comes out. There's only one potential disappointment - the camera. It may take good photos in optimum conditions, but no Xenon flash means you'll be better off keeping your K800i if you want decent photos in a wide range of conditions.

wasn't this phone delayed?
it could be a new way of designing a phone, but its still a nokia. we know SE always makes a better phone, so i'll wait for something else.

and really ask your self: DO YOU NEED GPS???

I think this phone was delayed until the 2nd quarter. It's not that we should have expected a very fast release for such a powerful and innovative phone though Look at the N91; that took ages to get to market.

Anyway, I still think that this phone is a jack of all trades, master of none.

I hope Sofia will hit the market before N95...

Hi all,
While i have to admit the N95 is one very loaded smart phone it's not for me as i already have a GPS solution with Tom Tom 6 and it's not like my Holox is big or battery hungry. I am also not a fan of slider phones and much prefer the large tactile keypad on my N93. I don't know how Nokia manged it but the jump in speed on the N93 was huge so if the N95 also has this it is encouraging news for S60. The new Communicator device is the one that has my interest can't wait to see it and i believe this will be running S60 3rd Edition FP1 and quite a few other nice things as yet not confirmed.
