The weak calendar is a pet peve of mine. Coming from Blackberries, and before that Treos, I got used to a much more robust calendar app. True, the K790i is not really a smartphone, but it does email (even push emai) and has a decent contacts program, so why is the calendar so lame? My ideal view would be the week-at-a-glance view like an old-fashioned paper date book. The Palm OS had this function with an aftermarket program called DateBk5 by Pimlicosoftware.com. Even a simple agenda view would be a step up from the current views offered. Heck, just a theme where the main page does a "today" style summary would be sweet. Something to show your next 2 or 3 calendar appointments, maybe how many unread emails in your inbox, missed calls, etc. Are there any 3rd party calendar programs out there for the basic Sony-Ericsson operating system? I'm sure there are some for Symbian, but how about the rest of us who want just a little more than the current offerings?
