Hello,
I have a p990 after previously using a p910 and a k790.. I have always used the phone strap provided as i like a secure grip on the phone around my wrist.. Normally the straps have been pretty easy to attach, but i have been struggling with the P990..
I was wondering if there is a secure way to attach it.. Right now, i have to open the battery cover, delicately place the strap in the very tiny grooves provided and slide the battery cover to hold it in place.. And the attachement is not at all secure. The strap came loose and my phone had a mighty fall.. Even with best attempts to secure it, it easily comes off with a gentle tug..

Not to mention if the phone freezes and i have to take off the battery cover, the strap simply falls off.. Kind of irritating.. Was wondering if there's a simpler way to do it? Am i doing something wrong?

Cheers.

If you look closely near the small holes you'll find that there is a little hook over which you can secure the strap.

The manual has pictures explaining how to properly attach the strap. You'll need to lift the battery (probably best to shut off the phone first) to get it round the hook.

Thanks a lot guys... Never occurred to me to look under the battery...

So far none of the previous phones has such a mechanism...

Thanks.
