i solved the problem late last night, when connected to my laptop, i opened the memory sticks folder. I deleted all the files that were in mp3, only to find that once i did an info on the MP3 folder itself, it still have about 50kb of mystery space on it. So i deleted the Mp3 folder itself, unplugged the phone from the laptop, checked the phone out, it was gone.

So then i hooked it back up to the USB and the MP3 folder was back, but this time, with no mystery files taking up corruped space. SWEET.
