hi,
my k800i keeps restarting itself. I was trying to take a pic and the phone reset itself and started up.. when it starts up, it tries to download a MMS and resets itself. It's a continuous loop..
Is there anyway of stopping this MMS download before the phone restarts? That's probably the problem.
What should I do?

@lee - For the meantime . . . turn the phone OFF, then remove the battery . . . put it back after awhile then ON - again, let's see what happens. Is your phone still under warranty

Try another SIM Card, wait and do a Master Reset after.
If it works, you can use your old SIM card.

Thanks for the fast replies.
I'll wait until my phone has cooled down a bit (got a little hot) and try again later.
Regarding another SIM Card: It's 3 locked, and I don't know anybody else with a 3 SIM card. Is there a quick way to reset my phone while it's on for 3 secs?
It's under warranty yes.

I've had a look at the top items on the phone when it's starting up..
Basically, it's trying to do all these things:
-Connect to internet via 3G
-Download new MMS
-Display new MMS
-Display text message
-Display/download RSS updates
Maybe the phone is overloaded?

@lee - How much memory you've GOT left . . . internal and external

As much as possible leave the INTERNAL - FREE . . . transfer all your files - OUTSIDE (m2 card) . . . or leave only the ff: message alert tone and ringing tone (if sourced outside) . .. . . .

From when I last looked, I had over 50MB internally, and 500MB external.
When I put the phone into my computer, I can't actually see any files within it anymore (I used to be able to).
I just tried turning my phone on, and it's still resetting.

Take battery, sim-card and memory-card out of your phone, put them in again after 24 hours, then turn it on.
Maybe this will help, sometimes it does.

@lee - OK . . . as much as possible LEAVE only the necessary files in your INTERNAL memory . . .
@marly - Have you been experiencing this problem with your

K800 as well
