Hello,

I just recently arrived from the Philippines and have developed new relationships with many filipinos. I have been communicating actively with them usually through text on the Smart Buddy and Globe networks.

I am now in the USA with Cingular and T-Mobile networks but I am unable to use my SMART or GLOBE sim while I am in the USA. Has anyone been able to successfully configure the SIM to communicate with SMART and GLOBE users in the philippines while using a Philippine SIM in the USA? Thanks for your help.

you have to contact either smart or globe and ask them to activate your roaming feature. if you're using smart, i believe you can activate it via their website.
