> P990i dead! Just vibrates
Bookmark topic
Hi,
I was surfing the net on the phone and I think I was about to receive a call. The phone just started vibrating and the phone went blank. I had to take the battery out to get it to stop.
Now when I start the phone I get a blank screen (it lights up) but it just vibrates for 4-5 seconds then switches off.
Any ideas?? I don't think I can master reset it or anything :S Help!!

As has been said to me many times today. Try update your firmware using SUSE or take it into your service provider.

I have to agree with Kitsune, it sounds like the white screen of death, bummer.

i have had this happen to me aswell. i got mine to work again by re-updating my phone. i connected my phone to my pc then ran the update software even when the phone was vibrating. when the update was complete i turned my phone back on and it worked. i lost all my old info but the phone worked. so good luck. hope this helped.

well same like mine too, i try to re update the phone but the big problem is SEUS wont recognize my phone, on th screen there is no conneected phone. still i my mind on big question, it is just a software issue or hardware issue...? coZ on the service center they say there is a hardware that causing the phone become dead and not recognize...
