i have both of them.
A1200 = Linux Platform
M600 = UIQ3.0 Symbian version 9.0ed Platform
A1200 is much attractive,smaller and most importantly, alot faster. and so far i havn't encounter any bug at all. also opening time only takes less than 20sec. the camera on this phone takes very decent photo which is good.
M600 is quite slim, square esche k750i style. UI isnt the fastest, it takes less than 40 sec to start but UI is very smooth. SE need to iron the bugs abit more. i still encounter restarting and somtimes freezing. im on the latest firmware right now btw. the screen on this is much brighter. the qwerty took me quite a while to learn it. no camera
battery on phone are almost the same. both 3days at the max.
(4-5 hours music, 30-40min call, few text, games, camera on a1200)
both screen are nice and joyful to look at. both has the same loudness on mp3 via loudspeaker and heaphone(which is very quite imo) and both music quality are the same which is good. both video playback are good and both can set to full screen mode. A1200 is quadband while M600 is triband 3G. reception wise, imo both are good but i can do phonecall at subway ,basement, underground on A1200 with extra band while not in M600 but it can do faster data transfer.
if m600 has camera and bugs are ironed out ill take it anyday but A1200 is almost as equal as m600 plus its much much attractive especially the translucent cover. very curvysiouc and sexy.
try both before deciding which to take. goodluck! and happy newyear!

Size wise m600 is great, really shocking how small in person. Speed of menus is a bit disappointing. Trying to access messages takes longer than it should.

love the form of the m600i, looks good and screen display is quite good too. Functions are also very extensive and is a good pda-phone for such a small size. However, the buggy software & firmware and of course, the lags are the major downsides to this phone.....

size wise A1200 looks and feels much smaller in hand. its like holding W850i.
while m600i is thinner but a bit wide imo.
