Hi there,
i have been playing about with my camera on my p990 and i have looked at the pictures on my computer and it seems there is a grey dot in the pictures. I have circled it, what could it be?

Yeah i have tried cleaning it, i dunno what would get rid of it though, i have tried just using my t shirt and that didn't do anything. I have a look at the lens and there was nothing on it.

Happened to me a few months ago when a left my phone near a big flame for like 15 minutes (I know it wasn't very smart). Try to take the battery out and let your phone in a not so cold site (something like 18-20°C) the whole night and if you are lucky your phone should be ok in the morning.

look at the link below. it's a professional camera and on that page is a movie about that camera. it also explains how dust can appear on photos. watch carefully. (it's the only video on that page)

Yeah i have used that camera, quite good i must say. Right well if it is dust, which i hope it isn't, i am pretty screwed as i don't have an intergrated cleaning system and there is no way i am taking my phone apart to get to the camera.
