> Man Wages Web War on Mobiles
Bookmark topic
A SAFETY campaigner is using his own “snitch” website to declare war on drivers using handheld phones.
Andrew McGavin, 52, wants other road users who see anyone yakking at the wheel to log details to pass to police.
Andrew initially set up
www.betterdrivingplease.com after getting fed up with boy racers near his home in Stow-on-the-Wold, Gloucs and got 60,000 hits in a month.

There is no excuse these days for being on the phone and driving.
What with all the BT headset and handsfree options out there - a HBH-35 is less than £20 - small price to pay for good piece of mind and a clear conscience.

@leeboy
Plus there has been a few high-profile accidents lately involving people on the blower while driving.
If that doesn't put the frighteners on you nothing will.

It is not where your hand is, but where your head is that makes driving and yapping dangerous. I got hit by one of those nimrods once. He was still yapping when he got out of the car. Man my fist was itching.
