hi all, i've got a question about my k800's warranty ...
i will be sending my phone to the service center because i have some software problems (games and apps don't work) and i was wondering if they could refuse to repair it under waranty because it has been dropped on the floor once and has 2 marks on the casing (2 corners are "bruised")
i'll try to upload some pictures later,
cheers

If the fault is caused by the drop then they can say no to a repair.

if the bugs arent cauesed by the drop, u llget it repared for free of course, but in your case, the service ppl like to say "sorry, its caused cos of the drop, no warranty". imo its really up to the service guys

the faulty firmware is before it got dropped just could'n get arround to sending it to repair
imo the software bug can't be influenced by the fall(wich came at a later date) but just wanted to get some more oppinions
well here are a cupple of pictures showing both problematic corners
upper left corner
lower roght corner
so mainly just the silvery outline got bruised

Cause cases look crap, but as far as the impact goes, thats nothing Im sure they wil fix the phone under warranty if its just a firmware or software fault.

well actually i'd buy a silicone case but it's to damn expensive to get shipped ... maybe i'm mistaken but it the shipping would cost at least as much as the case ...

Next to it at a real bad drop not even a case can avoid inner brakes
