looking to buy a acer laptop with around 512mb ram or more,80gb hard drive or more and webcam installed but not sure what model and where to buy.
looking for one under £430 if possible and has any1 bought from shopacer?
is it reliable?
can anybody recommend a laptop with the same specs?

you could get a good packard bell for around that price. Somebody here was buying a refurbished one for £350.
One of the advertisements I Saw here on esato which gives a an acer with a contract for £99

it went out of stock just as ai lciked add to basket and they dont sell it anymore ;-(

I was looking at getting an Acer from Shopacer. Quite impressed with the specs, price and delivery etc. Only thing that stopped me buying one was my other Acer was repaired.
Google a few reviews of the shop before you make your mind up. Try and get one that has either a half price or some other upgrade to Vista. Will save you some money.

Hi Tom. Specs not too good for the money though. 40Gb Hard drive, 256Mb RAM. Yesterdays hardware. You get this "reduced from £799" thingie but that was about 14 months ago when it cost a lot more. Prices have crashed!
