if your phone is cid36 you can change the apf files for some modified ones. right now i'm using the qwerty's apf files, i think the speaker is loud enough.

Another way is to increase gain,but the quality goes down (distortion kicks in) after a point,but i found it effective at times specially if u're only listening through speaker and not headphones (ringtones and all..)..

Yep, you can do it with Far. But it's not worth it though as you get too much distortion. Some things are fine but most aren't.
