I have an unlocked T68i from the AT&T network that is working fine on cingular. I pay the $6.99 for wireless internet express, and I have the settings in the phone correctly. when I first got the phone the gprs worked fine around my house and in my city just like my old phone did, but now it NEVER gets the little blue triangle telling me that gprs is available. it will still get it in odd places far away from my house like irvine and santa ana (i live in newport beach, ca) but it has "lost" the signal around my house. any idea as to what to do to get my signal back? thanks!

It is not your t68i. Cingular has spotty coverage of gprs, and will always prioritize voice over data communications. AT&T does a better job with data beacuse they have much larger capacity. But even AT&T sometimes doesn't have gprs available.

By the way, how did you get your AT&T t68i unlocked?

Yes indeed Cingular coverage is spotty and will give you coverage in places you would least expect. Hope you browsing gets better. One big question, could you send me the step by step instructions for the settings and setup for your t68 before you started browsing on using wap?? I'd appreciate it. riverct033, I also live in Newport and have had the same exact problem as you. But 2 days ago it finally started working again. I bet it's working for you too now, isn't it? I have been on Cingular for weeks to finally take care of the problem and mine now works all over Newport.
