> File Manager Problem

This has probably been discussed millions of times so sorry about that. I am having a problem with the Sony Ericsson File Manager on the computer, which really I have always had but I thought today after trying to transfer some pictures across that it was finally time to get some help from good old Esato.
Basically, the problem is that when I am trying to transfer a few files either from the phone to the computer or from the computer to the phone, when trying to transfer multiple files at once the program will eventually crash. This in turn causes the computer to no longer detect the phone and with trying everything I know failing, leaving me with no alternative but to restart the computer.
This is highly annoying, the problem occuring after about 8 or 9 files have crossed over. Obviously the alternative is to do each file individually, but when you have 70 odd photos top transfer across it can get rather frustrating. I resorted to transfering in sets of say 5 or 6 at a time, but even this will lead to a crash eventually.
I was hoping that someone or people here on Esato could help me out, either with a File Manager update of some sort that fixes this, or just really something else that will overcome this constant problem.
Thankyou

can you use a card reader? or a program like MyPhoneExplorer? I also have problems transfering files from my t630 to PC, using the dongle's software wich was fine. It doesn't allow me to copy any pic, I can only open it individually, and from the image editor, save it on hard disk. So I use MyPhoneExplorer wich overcomes that problem. hope all goes well.

ok man, well just go to the file explorer, highlight the files and click on the green button with an arrow pointing down, then select the destination folder. You can manage files in the phone memory or on the memory stick. Cheers and glad I could help
