Basically, im unsure which phone i want right now, I have previously been using a sim free unlocked black w900i which is a fantastic phone for my walkman needs, but I have just upgraded to a w950i (supplied sim free and unbranded!) which works amazingly well with my ds970 bluetooth headphones BUT I miss having a camera!

I cant use the w900i anymore as i refuse to go back to fastport connectors and silly cables for my music needs, i need a phone which works with my sexy headphones, so I guess my best bet is the silver james bond k800i (massive james bond fan!) as this works with my headphones and has a camera.

Downside of k800i? Its a bit chunky, doesnt match ds970 headset colour wise and the m2 cards cost a fair bit and i need at least 2 gig of memory, not to mention having to use a standard media player instead of the walkman features! Ideally i would like to use my w900 with the headset but sony are mean and wont release new software to make it work which is a shame!

So what does everyone think i should do? Would a black w900i create interest as i know its not a common phone and still feature packed, and would it fetch a good price? Also, the w950i, what kind of prices would i be offered, bearing in mind its sim free, ebay shows £200+.

Sorry to waffle on

Opinions are very welcome etc.

J.

ps. before anyone shouts at me for posting in two forums, i wasnt sure which was most fitting for my question, so i apologise before anyone kicks off!

I'll happily got for any shape to be honest, apart from flip phone!

xenon - i have considered w850 but i dont like the sliding design and the lack of AF. but it uses normal memory cards which is a bonus as i have a few 2 gig ones for my psp.

if i stick to the mem stick, then only "older" models are interesting for u.

yes but why should we chase sony and the marketing of new cards forcing us to buy new ones which cost more? its bad. All my toys use the proper memory card. Sometimes i think older handsets are better, rarer, more you can do with them, latest working firmware - you know where you stand with a classic handset its like a classic car. Why chase modern technology all the time? Its good but dont right off classics like w800, k750i, w900! etc

thats the way it is according the mem cards, nothing to do against it. so if u wanna go for a newer model, u shouldnt focus on ly on the mem stick itself, keep it for the psp.

@MJJPB
It's obviously P990 for you :
- The camera does have AF
- Memory Card still uses MSD Pro so your 2GB MSD still can be utilized
- It works well with HBH-DS970 for your music

Rifqi_Aziz - had a p990i for a week before changing my mind and getting the w950i. Its great, but BIG, software problems, awful to use without a flip one etc. Not for me but nice trying it! The w950i would be ok without a cam if it was user friendly, too much hassle for a quick text, delicate screen etc.
