Has anyone come across this?
Everytime i plug my phone into my PC to sync by USB or i re-insert my memory card it tries to install some previously installed programs (which are already installed!)

it's as if somewhere on my memory stick there is residual information on apps to be installed

If i cancel the install for these 3 apps they just re-appear for install again next time

If i install the apps - they actually don't install anywhere!

it's a little annoying but i'm sure someone will have seen this before...

search your memory stick for hidden jar/jad or sys files, then delete them...thatīs what i did, and it stopped

Yes,

i had the same problem after i upgraded the phone to r9.

It was getting on nerves so i went to connection/usb and changed the connection into file transfer, i connected the p990i to the pc and then using the explorer i deleted every single program file that i found on the private folder, on the sys folder and then i disconnected the p990i and uninstalled them from the control panel.

This way i had no more ghost applications begging me to install themselves on my p990i.

Hope this helps

the only jar/jad files i do find are not the autoinstall ghost apps.

there are a LOT of files in /private and /sys

surely i cant delete all of them?
