Hi there.

Has anyone noticed the major bug with the w950i's stereo bluetooth streaming yet??

I noticed this first on the U2 track "Who's gonna ride your wild horses" from Achtung Baby but you could use any track in theory...

With the headphones plugged in at the start of the track we have...

Raging guitars on the left channel - which is correct..

On the DS970 stereo bluetooth the channels are reversed - the guitar is now on the right channel which is wrong.. The headbuds are clearly labelled L and R of course!!!

I was able to test also the Plantronics Pulsar 260 stereo bluetooth and again the guitar was on the right channel..

This seems to prove the problem lies with the 950i firmware itself reversing the L and R channels...

Has anyone else noticed this?

Lastly, since I've had the chance to compare two stereo bluetooth units, I should say the Plantronics Pulsar 260's output is terrible - it suffers from a background hiss and is not nearly in the same league as the official Sony DS970.

The overall volume levels on both bluetooth units are quite low - although the Plantronics is lower of the two.
Is the W950i keeping it low?

Maybe this will help someone out there!!!

Regards

Steve McDonald.
