> Help with my W810 T_T! White Screen!
Bookmark topic
Yesterday in the morning my phone was working just fine and about 6 hours after my W810 completely died. I thought my phone was on and when I checked it had a white screen. :S
I don't know what to do... can someone help me? Btw... is a master reset going to work and which should I choose Master Reset Settings or ALL?

i take out the battery for a while, clean the ports{those brownish plates on the battery}with a cloth and then i put the battery back
but i don't switch it on
i charge it
then if it can charge, i switch it on when it is charging try it out and see whether yours can do the same

you cant perform anything if you have a white screen, can you? try SEUS, but i think it will say that you have the latest firmware. so take it to a service center if you warranty is available.

And can I take it to ANY Sony Ericsson Service Centre?

same problem with my k750. apparently you can re flash the erom (which often causes white screens) with davinci, for free, but it requires you to have a credit. Not 100% sure that's correct, so maybe someone else can help..

Don't think you can do it (W800/810 or K750) with kulan as they seems only serve DB2020 phone. But you may try wotan or davinci. These two need 1 credit to work but don't take the credit for EROM flashing. You may ask someone who already own at least 1 credit to flash it for you.
There are many who can bring up their dead phone by flashing the EROM. Off course if you are still under warranty then you better bring it to SE.
