Dunno why this hasn't been mentioned yet
And three great players retire as well.
And we win back the Ashes again

4 Players.. Youre forgetting Damien Martyn who set the tone
I was expected to do as good as they've done, But I have to say the previous Ashes was much more exciting. It was good quality cricket all around.
There were some very close matches and it was probably the best cricket I have ever witnessed.. and Im a neutral!

I don't normally watch the cricket, instead preferring the rugby (wallabies) but this year I felt something special was coming so watched almost every minute of it, especially that last match here in Sydney. fantastic and a famous win
Its worth mentioning the brits (flintoff) were very honourable in their defeat speech and in honoring the retiring Aussies
its just a real shame that we don't get to keep the ashes urn here in Australia until the next series

@rule_breaker
Yeah you're right
But, it was a memorable series, and I hope that England put up a bit more of a fight next time around.

their home is the mcc, but they can tour as long as they go back to the mcc.
It doesn't really worry me that we don't have the ashes here. We won, that's what's important right
And the Poms were very gracious, and they played brilliantly, but our players where just a bit better.
All players from both sides should be congratulated for an excellent match. Bloody good cricket, and I'm not even a particular fan (I prefer auto racing).
