Hi,
I have just been playing around with my p990 and i have noticed if you select a file and go to properties it has a box saying hidden. I have ticked that but the files don't hide. How do i put it so it doesn't show the files i want hidden.

Just guessing, but anyway:
It might have something to do with the MS's FAT file system. The files might be hidden when you're browsing the phone on the PC. Seems kinda pointless, but anyway... On the other hand, how would you unhide a file?

Advanced Device Locks can password protect apps. I don't know if anything exists for files, but locking File manager may be a start

This 'hide' has the same feature, meaning as within Windows File Properties. Of course the file won't DISAPEAR.

If you tick this for example a picture, then this picture won't be listed in Picture Gallery!
But of course, if you look at it in File Manager... there it is!

Files marked as hidden should be left out of any synchronisation with your PC. The same function as marking files as private on windows mobile devices.
