Bookmark topic
Hello everyone,
This is my first post here. I read all the topics and I was really amazed by the informations and helpful people here, so I wanted to register and try to explain my problem that I faced yesterday about my k800i hope you could help me guys.
First of all, almost every 3-4 days I check for any new software update and yesterday I found the latest one and wanted to update my mobile. I did everything I asked for in SEUS and started toupdate my mobile. First it goes from the internet to my computer and it reaches only 2% of 100% and moved to the next page which is from the computer to the mobile and reaches 4% of 100% and it takes me to the main page of SEUS as I go to Start or Exit I pressed exit to see what's happened and unplugged mu mobile trying to get my SIM and swich on my mobile but it didn't work anymore no flash in the infra red spot or anything I turned the SEUS again hoping to get better and update my mobile but it goes the same problem couldn't complete the new firmware to 100% (only 2& as the previous one ) and the same from the computer to the mobile (only 4% and stopped ). Please someone help me and tell me what to do. Thank you
Noticed : I got all my program working ( Java and everything needed for the update I suppose.

Hi, welcome to Esato. A normal SEUS update, the last time I used was ver. 2.6.12.10, showed only 23% of file download, then jumped to updating phone, up to 50% then abruptly jumped to 100% and popped out a succes notification window. I'm afraid your phone is dead. Visit SE Service Centre or pay credits on Wotanserver. I have updated many times, more than 10 times by using SEUS, and to tell you the truth, I killed my friend's K750i once. I have no idea exactly why it happened. It might be my Windows, SE server problems or the internet connection itself. If you read a lot here, many people were unlucky with SEUS while others weren't. That's why SEUS states as a disclaimer before updating goes on that any damage may not be blamed to SE. Online update with remote server is always risky as you never know what exactly happens. Meanwhile, not all Windows used to update are 'clean' enough to do the process.

Hey Aremaboy,
Thank you soo much for replying to me. Though, I couldn't wait and I took my mobile to the SE Service Centre today morning. As you said, it might be the problem from the SEUS it self or the internet connection also, but when I updated it before with SEUS it goes well. Anyway hope they can fix it and upgrade the latest software in it. Thank you again

Well, SE seems to release firmware once in 2-3 months unless something is in need for emergency fix. I think checking SEUS once a months is more than enough. Unless you checked from wap (FOTA) but SE ussually put firmware to SEUS first before it shows up in FOTA.
