Playing the music you’ve saved on your phone through external speakers without any wires is the simple beauty of the Bluetooth™ Music Receiver MBR-100. You can then play it in hi-fi quality by simply plugging the receiver into your hi-fi stereo or your car stereo and streaming the music on your stereo Bluetooth™-equipped phone through the speakers.

The MBR-100 comes with 2 different cables, an RCA cable and a 3.5 mm input cable so it can fit almost any audio device at home or in the car. This means that once your phone is paired to the MBR-100, you simply have to walk into its range to accept an automatic invitation on your phone screen to play your music as loud as you want. As the music plays through the speakers you can use your phone as a remote control, with the ability to play, pause and skip to next track.

Compact, light and portable, the MBR-100 has a rechargeable battery which means it’s easy to take with you. Finished in glossy black, it will look good while you let all the music out, through your home stereo or your car stereo in great quality sound.

Available from early Q1 2007.

This is a joke right? I really really cannot see the marketing rationale for SE releasing this when Sony has this available -
http://www.audiocubes.com/cat[....]luetooth_Audio_Controller.html

I'm already using one with my home stereo (3.5mm jack to RCA cables are a dime a dozen). And of course, this has the added functions of remote controlling the media player in the SE mobile AND I can field calls!!

Is this MBR-100 just a money garbber by SE before they release an SE branded version of the Sony item in due time? I mean, SE has to release one eventually (soon); Nokia already has a comparable accessory for their A2DP phones!
