My bro in-law liked my P990 so much, i ended up gifting it to him. I've bought the HTC S620, also known as Dash in place. I've blasted the windows OS before and this one's OS is the Smartphone edition and it seems much more stable. While it's not technically superior to the P990 the form factor is superb and it pretty much has all that i want. I'm kind of feeling sad about not having the P990 and specially about not contributing actively to this forum, at least for the time being, who knows maybe i'll rejoin in the future.

As the HTC S620 pretty much has all that 'you' want, I see no need to delve into the matter anymore. Good luck and enjoy.

That said, I really see no reason for these kinds of announcements! Many here are, believe it or not, happy with our choices and can do well without further advice.

My wife just bought one of those. I'm using it for the time being to learn how to use it so I can teach her its functions.

One major thing that bugs me about the unit is the volume control. It decreases and increases if you put it on your ear while using it. It can get very frustrating. I've tried it with the headset that it came with and although it has its own volume controller, it still changes because your hand/fingers would brush the slider ever so slightly.

I also had to reboot or re-set it on more than one occasion because I was unable to dial a phone number due to the number keys would not function. And speaking of number keys, they are very small and one can easily get confuse whether a particular key is a number or a letter. And the way they are laid out lack common sense whomever designed it like that. Nevertheless, it seems very sturdy because of the 'rubbery' casing and its leather case is not bad also. I wish my P990 came with a case like that. Good luck with it and don't look back...otherwise, you might regret it
