posted this in a few forums, hopefully some kind soul here will offer some solution.......
whenever i try to connect my p990 to computer using m-router and bluetooth i get the following error:
'failed to connect
reason: the requested address is not valid in its context'
the phone and computer paired ok, and they connect fine using usb cable and m-router.
i've tried un-pairing and un/reinstalling pcsuite but always get same error.
any ideas? 'coz it's getting on my nerves

Hi martynb

I had exactly the same problem when i still had my M600 the only solution i could come up with and even this was far from perfect was to have bluetooth turned on in the phone before booting up the PC. Even this did not a guarantee that it would work every time. As i always sync using Bluetooth as I hate having to connect cables the whole time it did drive me nuts also, good luck.

thanks dogmann.

i solved my problem by un-pairing, uninstalling, then removing all traces of sony ericsson and m-router from the registry (dangerous game, but i was desperate)
when pc suite was reinstalled and computer rebooted i paired the devices and m-router auto-started and recognised the bluetooth connection.

also finally managed to get my wi-fi connection sorted out today, what a great day

gotta say that this is an impressive phone, but a pain in the @$$ to set up and use. especially after the smooth operation of my last phone, nokia n73.
