> software update killed p990

I used the software update to update my p990, it downloaded the update completely, then started to reflash my phone, but got to 40% and lights went off, now my phone doesn't work anymore (I can't turn it on)
I used the software update again and it says my phone is uptodate so does nothing and quits.
I'm somewhere with no access to sony ericsson service centers and I need my phone back. anyone can help me?

it happens sometimes. try to do it again, or go the nearest SE shop, they will fix it for you!

he just told you he tried again the update service and told you he CANT get to a sony ericsson service.

Isn't there any way of rolling the phone back, a lot like Windows XP System Restore?
If there isn't, do you have access to any independant retailers who may be able to solve the problem?

in seus there is no restore option.. or I should say there is no option! it just tells you what to do and goes to the next page! and since it checks the version of the phone software, it says it's updated and does nothing else..
Well as I said before unfortunately I have no access to any repair center now, even a non-sonyericsson.
