> k800i Dilemma

Hi all, first and foremost sorry if this is in the wrong section, this is my first time! Feel free to guide me in the right direction!
I am looking to get a new K800i, and I am torn between 2 offers, both of which have their advantages and disadvantages regarding both the fone and contract... (i am a UK user)
i. Orange £25 p/m 150 anytime mins + 850 texts + unlimited free calls to a 'Magic number'. Downside being the horrible Orange branded fone which I will have to reflash on WotanServer.com, (hassle, effort & risk)
ii. O2 £30 p/m 400 anytime mins + 750 txt (no magic number), + Virtually unbranded K800i ready to use!
I mostly call my gf, so 90% of my calls would be used by the magic number. So it really comes down to whether I want to pay £5 more per month to avoid reflashing a brand new fone, and also leave Orange who I have a love/hate relationship with.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated!!

the O2 version also comes with a free 512mb memorycard unlike the Orange version, if that tips the scales at all?

the magic number seems extremely useful to you seeing as you make so many calls to your gf, it would mean you still have many mins free to use for others - maybe you could downgrade your tariff further to a cheaper one because you probably wouldn't be needing as many minutes with orange if you've still got the magic number? Just a thought!
As a network I much prefer O2 because their reception is the best! O2 customer service is poor however compared to orange.
My O2 online K800i didn't come with a memory stick btw.

I think Vodafone's customer service is excellent! Have you had a look at what they have on offer. All phones get Vodafone Live for free which includes Sky Sports News and ITN latest as well for free. For an additional £5/month you also get a TV package. And Vodafone have excellent reception as well!

Thanks to both. I think you're right about the magic number thing, I'll just have to get over the nasty Orange branding that I don't seem to be alone in hating! The next step may then be to debrand it, which i do have reservations about, tho there is plenty of info about this online!
Reception isn't really an issue as we have both o2 and Orange fones in the house and they are both as good as each other. Although I have admired Orange's customer service over the 4 or so years that I have been with them.
Vodafone hasn't really featured in my decision-making, the contracts they offer dont seem competitive, and the branding is similarly awful.
I have a few days to decide...
