Bookmark topic
I'm having a issue with my work PC and installing PC Suite. The error I get is this
M Router
Failed to comunicate with mRouterRuntime
Reason: Class not registered.
Even when I completly uninstall PC Suite and clean the registry and all the folders I get the same error when I restart my machine.
I'm on Win XP Pro SP 2, using PC Suite ver 1.2.15. I have full admin rights to the PC and even when I login as admin (local or network) I get the same issue.
Anyone have any ideas. I do have a call out with SE but it has been over a month now and all I get is update notifications that it is being looked at.
Getting really wound up with it now
Cheers

Yeah, done that a few times already (about 8 now, lol). Looked through the registry manually and also used regvac to tidy it up. Still no joy

I had the same problem until i deinstalled the pcsuite, deinstalled the widcomm bluetooth environment (have you that?) and reinstalled the only pcsuite.
Now it works, but i've no more the widcomm sw, and i use the XP Sp2 bluetooth stack.

I haven't had BT on this machine before, but I'll have a look and see if it makes a difference. Will let you know.

hi chubnut, as well as removing pcsuite references from registry have you also removed references to m-router in there?
it's hiding under intuwave folder.
i had problems connecting with bluetooth and only after removing this intuwave registry entry did i get pc suite reinstalled and working.
good luck.

Wonder if you have removed some of the .NET it might need ?
Did it tell you which DLL was not registered in the error msg ?
If it talks about class not being registered then there must be something that it is expecting to find. Can't remember what the prerequisite for running the PC suite now... sorry.
Didi you use reg editor to remove all mentions of SE in the system ?

Ok, you guys have been very helpful and have pointed me in the right direction for a couple of the issues. More than SE have done!! All I get from them is that they are still looking into it!!! Anyway....
... I have managed to get rid of that class not registered issue. Thank you. And did the re-install with no issues. However, while the PC sees I've attached the phone, PC Suite still cant!!
Any ideas as this is doing my head in
Cheers
