> Do Australian SIM Cards work in UK Phones?

I am visiting Australia for a month or so soon. I have a K800i and Z710i both unbranded. I see from the Vodafone Oz site that you can rent SIM cards from them, Can anyone tell me whether these would work on either of my phones? I don't see why not but there may be some technical reason that a layman like me is unaware of. Many thanks
