Magic Message Manager is a great software to sort (filter) any incoming and outgoing message. It filters emails, SMS and MMS messages, beamed files and can do any action using powerful filters. I installed it and will give it a try. It looks like a great application. In my P910 I used mumsms but this one seams so much superior. The price is also very good.Thanks

I've been testing out Magic Message Manager for the last few hours and I'm having the following problems with it on my W950i (firmware: R1B01):
1) The filtering and notification features don't work with e-mail received from Exchange ActiveSync (even though EAS uses the default UIQ3 Messaging utility/store for all of it's e-mail functions - i.e. it adds an "ActiveSync" account to Messaging which isn't recognized by MMM).
2) Once I receive a notification for a new mail item (I used a standard POP e-mail account for this one), the notification never shuts off even after I've cleared all of the new mail items. The notification keeps on playing the the chosen sound/vibration every minute. It even continues after I've shut down the main MMM program. VERY ANNOYING! HOW DO I TURN IT OFF???
3) This one's not really a problem per se... But, how come the notifications don't work for new voice mail messages? It would be really nice to have that feature as well as one for missed call notifications (where no voice mail was sent).
I'll keep playing around with the program, but item number one in my above list is a real deal breaker for me I'm afraid. Without the ability to filter/notify for Exchange ActiveSync or BlackBerry Connect e-mail messages, the program's just not worth using (as all it could be used for is SMS/MMS notifications).
Kudos on all the hard work you've obviously put into the program though.

Do a backup before playing with that software, otherwise u'll end up like me by losing all of ur SMSs (around 1600). That was a horrible feeling!

I had try and install this software too, something want to said (OT) does magic launcher will be ready for UIQ3.0 ? I am so miss on this killer application.

Seems like a great tool and one I was hoping would be released, especially as I used S & W's SMS Manager on my previous P series phones and greatly missed that functionlaity.
Could I ask if you will be releasing Magic Profiles Pro in the near future? I heard previously that it would be released but everything seems to have gone quiet.

Tried it and it is great, a definite buy in a few days. I waited something like this and got even more. One thing I would like to have and that is a possibility for message notification while using a hide message option (at this moment one get only silence if hide message option is selected).
Anyway I recommend this software to UIQ 3 users.

AFAIK, you can't block incoming sms to your phone unless u're using call barring features. if i'm not mistaken, with this software, if you have unwanted incoming sms you can set the sender number and set rules for it (move it to trash folder perhaps?). just like rules in email client.
