Got a strange problem that has started this past week. Twice I know of now I've had the situation where I've not had any text messages when I would expect a reply (you get to know if mates will reply promptly don't you). Anyway I then turned the phone off\on and a number of SMS came through.

It's obvious they have been sent a while previous but only came through when the phone was rebooted. I'm with Voda UK. Has anybody else had this problem (don't recall reading about it)? Do you think it's phone or network related?

cheers

I strongly edvice you to have your phone to a service center. I have NEVER EVER heard so many problem from a user before. Either you dont know how to use it or it is a faulty phone

this also happens to me with my p900, all i did was i just format the internal disk to fixed some corrupt files(I don't know how this happen). That is what my p900 saying while formatting its internal disk. But with my p990i nothing happens to me like that so far. I hope it helps.

It's a network related problem. U don't need to restart ur phone, if u simply make a phone call, u'll activate ur account on that network & will receive any pending SMSs.

I've not mentioned any problems with my phone that I remember. Well other than the ones common to the P990i with this FW. This is the first 'new' issue I've posted I believe.

Even though you can call still you can't received sms because of some files are missing or corrupt. I tried it myself on my p900 what fixed it was formatting the internal disk.

You do have a lot of post regarding problems. But then again, a lot of people has. What a mean is, if you are having a lots of problem then it might be a faulty one. For most of the users its working OK after the latest f/w
