Hi, before on my Nokia 6630 and on my previous Nokia phones I would simply enter a contact's number as the following +(areacode)(Phonenumber) such as

+639178458282 or +14168724456

Now this comes out okay when I'm local within the said country. For example, if I'm in toronto and 4168724456 sends me an SMS, I get the name of the contact that I entered it as. However, if I'm in Toronto and someone from the Philippines (namely this +639178458282 number) sends me an SMS message, I don't see the name, but rather this variation of the number: +011639178458282

I know I could simply change all my numbers to include the 011 so that the proper contact names would come out. But I had thought that the "+" sign was the 011 so you didn't have to dial that part anymore.

Is there any way around this so I don't have to manually change all my numbers to include the 011?

Thanks!

Weird. Mine seems work OK. Maybe the one who send you sms identified his phone using +011xxx number?
