> Standby clock on P990i?

was just wondering whether there is any way of activating the standby clock (the time that shows on the screen with missed calls, messages when screen is dark) on the P990i?

Unfortunately no. Hopefully in a future firmware upgrade. You'll note that the light blinks when you have a missed call or sms though.
